The Dalles City Council meets on January 25 at 5:30pm. Among discussion items will be the final draft of the "Employment Buildable Lands Inventory." This document and discussion will cover the size of buildable lands in The Dalles, and how that availability can affect development of new projects and, ultimately, employment. The city staff & planning commission recommendation is to adopt the Employment Opportunities Analysis and the Employment Buildable Lands Inventory but not implement the Comprehensive Plan at this time.
